Synopsis
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified HUBZone Small Business for the Repairs to Hurricane Damaged Buildings at the Arecibo Job Corps Center in Garrochales, Puerto Rico
The work consists of construction services including all equipment, materials, and labor to execute facility repairs damaged during Hurricane María in September 2017. The work includes, but is not limited to roof repairs, window replacements and HVAC equipment repairs and replacements.
Period of Performance NTP to Substantial Completion: 165 calendar days NTP to Contract Completion: 195 calendar days

1. Prime Vendor’s Experience/Past Performance
The sub evaluation factors are as follows:
1. Previous Project Experience Similar to this Project’s Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years). Provide location and the project (City, State), the project value, and a brief and concise description of the project scope.
2. Prime Vendor’s Project Superintendent Experience of Projects of Similar Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years).
3. Previous projects performed in comparable weather areas.
4. Safety
· Prime Vendor’s OSHA certification credentials.
Bid Guarantee
A 20% bid guarantee is required for this project. Original bid bonds must be received by the proposal due date or the proposal will be considered nonresponsive. Bid bonds shall be sent to the address on page 1of the solicitation in Block 7. They should be sent to the attention of Bryan Ramso.

Interest in this solicitation announcement is open to all HUBZone type businesses relative to the primary NAICS code 236220 with a Small Business Standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this procurement is between $250000 and $500000.
