Synopsis: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation - Acquisition and Procurement Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program in Pawnee County, Oklahoma.
The work will consist of repair and road side stabilization measures on two sites located in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. The major items of work consist of mobilization and demobilization, rock riprap installed, riprap bedding installed, crushed rock installed, and debris removal.
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for the projects is between $100000 and $250000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standards for this NAICS is $36.5M. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 9 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-aside. The full solicitation package including specifications and drawings will be available from the Federal Business Opportunities website on or around February 11, 2019. Interested vendors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
An organized site visit has been scheduled for February 13th, 2019 at 9:30 AM at the Pawnee Field Office in Pawnee, Oklahoma to inspect the site and discuss the requirements. Interested vendors are encouraged to attend.
