Synopsis: Added: Oct 08, 2019 3:21 pm This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a solicitation only; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under solicitation # 80JSC020Q0023 for an Electrical Six Degree-of-Freedom Platform (Six DOF) and a single DOF actuator.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.
The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to deliver the Six DOF Platform and the Single DOF actuator. The scope of developing the Six DOF platform includes performing the necessary systems engineering and integration, acceptance test plan, procedures development and testing required ensuring the specifications are met. The Single DOF actuator testbed that will include the actuator as well as the same controller that is used in the Six DOF Platform.
The One DOF deliverable will consist of a single electric actuator. This actuator must be identical to the actuators used in the Six DOF platform (specifications outlined above). Deliverable shall be inspected to verify that basic dimensions are as specified. The results of the dimensional inspection shall be provided to NASA in the Acceptance Data Package.
Quotes for the item(s) described in the RFQ are due by 10/21/2019 by 4 p.m. CT in order to be considered for award. Quotes shall remain valid for 90 days unless otherwise expressly stated on the quote. Submitted Quotes shall list two points of contacts including name, phone number, and email address. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail) to Jeffrey Finley at [email protected] no later than 10/15/2019 by 12 p.m. CT. Telephone questions shall not be accepted.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333999 with a business size standard of 500.
This procurement is full and open competition.
Offeror"s shall be registered at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award.
Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (July 2016), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. The provision may be obtained via the internet at URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/reghtml/regs/far2afmcfars/fardfars/far/52_000.htm. These representations and certifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant contract.
