Synopsis: Added: Sep 05, 2019 2:31 pm The Defense Logistics Agency, Aviation Wing, Robins AFB, GA, will acquire replenishment spare parts-Axial Impeller Fan, also known as "Cooling Turbine," applicable to the A/M32C-10C Air Conditioner.

This is a sole source requirement under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for American Turbo Systems (ATS), Inc. ATS is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the Axial Impeller Fan Assembly performance requirements, and possesses the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment. The Government does not own the data for this NSN.

SPRWA1-19-R-0070 is a request for proposal for a firm-fixed price requirements contract consisting of one 12-month basic ordering period and four consecutive 12-month ordering periods, for the delivery of a total quantity of 13 each assets to the Government. Detailed drawings are not available from the procuring activity. The Government does not own the data for this part.

The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
